WearRAcon Europe 2021

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, WearRAcon Europe 2021 took place as a virtual event. It gave insight into European aspects of industrial exoskeleton technologies and their assessment methodologies.

International representatives of various industrial exoskeleton application sectors reported on their experiences in developing, implementing, and evaluating exoskeleton systems. Further exoskeleton research topics such as exosuits, digital biomechanics, as well as human factors influencing acceptance were discussed extensively.
Presentations from renowned exoskeleton companies, such as the Spotlight Demo from Laevo revealing for the first time the Laevo FLEX to the public, gave the attendees a current and comprehensive picture of available commercial and industrial systems.
The 2021 edition also saw the first edition of the EXOWORKATHLON®, a physical live experiment putting commercial exoskeletons to the test, which was held in conjunction with the conference.
